Company Description At Yosemite Crew ( we're creating an open, modern, and compassionate Practice Management System (PMS) designed with and for pet businesses, pet owners and developers. We're not just building software, we're building a community-powered platform that brings transparency, usability, and trust back into the tools vets rely on every day. We’re looking for a Frontend React Native CLI Contributor to work closely with our Yosemite Crew mobile app. You’ll help shape delightful, intuitive user experiences that make technology feel like a true partner for veterinary teams. Role Description The contributor will be responsible for developing new features, optimising the performance of the frontend mobile application, and maintaining code quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with the product team, addressing issues or bugs, and ensuring responsive, user-friendly design tailored for mobile platforms. The role also involves contributing to the open-source codebase and participating in peer code reviews. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience with React Native CLI and TypeScript . Proficient in JavaScript , component-based architecture, and reusable code design. Familiarity with AI API integrations (e.G., OpenAI, Replicate, Hugging Face). Understanding of AWS fundamentals and cloud deployment. Experience with OTA tools (EAS Update, CodePush). Knowledge of Git , open-source contribution workflows, and collaborative repositories. Comfortable working with mobile app store submission , build pipelines , and CI/CD . Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Software Engineering , or equivalent practical experience. Strong communication and teamwork skills in a remote, async-first environment. Nice-To-Have Experience with React Query , Reanimated or native SDK creation . Understanding of mobile UX principles and accessibility best practices. Experience with backend APIs o r RESTful services. Previous contributions to open-source projects . Compensation and Perks Culture: 9-9-6 (Intense outcome focused culture) ₹8,000 INR/month for 3 months as a paid contributor role.
