Role: Guidewire Automation Tester

with GT UI & API automation framework experiencePrimary Skill: Guidewire PC, BC & CC applications, GT UI, GT API, TestCafe, JavaScript, Cucumber BDD, KarateLocation: Hyderabad/Pune/CoimbatoreHave an overall work experience of 5+ years, with at least 3-4 years of Guidewire® Policy Center, Billing Center, Claim Center implementation testing experience, Functional automation, In-sprint automation, End to End automation, Regression automation and GT UI, API automation framework experience.Job description:Understand the project requirements, prepare the automation test strategy/approach, design the automation scripts, and create the execution plan.Develop, enhance, and maintain the automation framework.Follow the Guidewire standards and automate UI/API scripts using Guidewire Testing (GT) framework.Perform automation script failure analysis, identify the root cause, fix the automation scripts, and re-execute the same.Attend all Scrum ceremonies and provide the updates on Automation to the client stakeholders.Automate Smoke test cases, Functional test cases, End to End test cases, Regression test cases and add it in CI/CD pipeline.Peer-review the automation scripts.Perform Functional, End to End and Regression automation execution.Achieve the expected First-time pass % for End to End and Regression automation scripts.Log the bug in the test management tool, track it, re-execute and bring it to closure once the fixes are provided.Create Dashboard/Reports in the test management tool – Jira/ADO/ALM/Rally/QTestCollaborate closely with other team members and LOBs.Track all the automation metrics and publish it to internal & client leadership team.Provide automation status update through Daily & Weekly status report to all required stakeholders.Bring in automation best practices & tools/accelerators based on the landscape.Provide guidance & train other team members in new automation skills.Skillset:Have a deep insight into the STLC and strong understanding of Agile methodologies.Have proven technical experience in analyzing requirements, preparing automation test strategy/approach, preparing automation script design & execution plan, performing Functional automation, In-sprint automation, End to End automation and Regression automation testing activities.Have good knowledge in Guidewire Policy Center, Billing Center & Claims Center modules/functionalities.Experience in P & C insurance domain with good experience in quote policy processing, Policy, Underwriting, Billing, Claims and Payments.Have good knowledge on Guidewire Policy Center, Billing Center, Claims Center configuration and integration tasks.Deep knowledge in

Guidewire Testing (GT) UI & API automation framework

with Handson Experience .Good technical expertise in

JavaScript, TestCafe, Cucumber BDD and Karate framework.Guidewire Associate/Other certification is preferable.Have work experience in automating Smoke test cases, End to End test cases, Regression test cases and adding it in CI/CD pipeline.Have a ‘differentiator’ mindset – a practitioner who contributes to asset/value add creation and build the competency / team.Have experience in managing & guiding other automation testers within the team.Good experience in Defect management, Metrics tracking & Status reporting.Present the testing metrics and testing activities for the projects to key stake holders.INS 21 certification is preferable.Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a challenging environment.Experience in JIRA/ADO/ALMExcellent in communication skills – verbal & written.Good in Presentation skills.
