Technical Scope of Work 1. System Architecture & Design - Must Define and document theoverall control architecture , including: PLC/DDC network hierarchy and supervisory levels. OT LAN segmentation, VLAN design, and IP plan. Redundancy and failover logic for automation systems. DevelopIO lists ,control philosophy documentsandfunctional design specifications (FDS) . Coordinate betweenMEP consultants ,controls contractors , andoperationsto align automation design.2. Control System Development - Must Authorcontrol sequence logicfor: Power systems: Need to have good understanding of the capacity framework and working design of UPS, LV/MV switchgear, gensets, fuel systems, PDUs Cooling systems: Need to have good understanding of the capacity framework and working design of chillers, CRAHs, pumps, valves, cooling towers, heat exchangers. Configure and validatePLCs, DDCs, and SCADA servers(Schneider / Siemens / Rockwell / Honeywell). Standardize data points and naming conventions across all systems. Implement interoperability viaBACnet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, OPC-UA , andMQTT brokersfor telemetry aggregation.3. Commissioning & Validation - Must DevelopFAT/SAT scriptsfor validation of control logic, redundancy, and failover scenarios. Executealarm and trend validationto ensure full functional coverage. Oversee integration testing withDCIM ,AIops , orenergy optimizationplatforms.4. Operations Enablement - Must CreateO&M proceduresfor BMS / SCADA systems including: Change management and version control. Alarm rationalization and escalation protocols. Data historian configuration and retention policies. Develop automation analytics dashboards to track PUE, thermal KPIs, and predictive maintenance metrics.5. Continuous Optimization - Must Collaborate with design and operations teams to: Tune PID loops and optimize control setpoints. Integrate AI models for predictive control. Support digital twin deployment and data validation.6. OT & Cybersecurity Governance - Great to Have Define theOT frameworkfor automation systems, including: Network segregation between IT and OT. Firewall and DMZ policy enforcement. Patch management and backup strategy for controllers and servers. Align systems toIEC 62443or equivalent cybersecurity compliance framework. Maintainsystem access logs , firmware inventories, and security posture reports.Deliverables Control Philosophy Document (CPD) Functional Design Specification (FDS) Control System Architecture & Network Diagram FAT/SAT Test Protocols & Reports OT Security Policy for Automation Systems Standardized Tag List & Alarm Database
