Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced GCP DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and expertise in DevOps methodologies. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and automation processes to support our development and deployment pipelines.


Responsibilities:

a) Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

b) Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.

Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability in a cloud environment.

c) Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of cloud services.

d) Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in a timely manner.

e) Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in all cloud deployments.

f) Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.


Requirements:

a) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

b) 4-5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

c) Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.

d) Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

e) Experience with configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.

Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.

f) Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

g) Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

h) Good communication and collaboration skills.

i) Google Cloud certification (e.g., Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer) is a plus.
