PositionPurpose
The role of theCredit Derivatives Trade Validation Associate is
accountable for the delivery of the Credit Derivatives TradeSupport
Activities within the OTC & LD TradeValidation team which processes any
OTC & LDTransaction for which terms & conditions are negotiatedwith
the mandate to ensure that it is correctlyrepresented in the booking
system consistent with thesale and allocated if necessary. They will
also ensurethat the transaction is correctly feeding FO to BObooking
systems.
Controls and/orprocesses trade capture in FO/MO/BO systems
Monitors and processes trade events
Investigates on trade feeds confirmations and payments in caseof
requests raised by other Operation teams.
Responsibilities

  • The management of trades in Focus tradeblotter ensuring trades are picked up and allocated and validatingamends performed with the guidance of more Seniorcolleagues
  • Booking of flow credit trades andstructured credit trades ensuring alignment of trade termsheet
  • Managing the flow of new trades andamendments from Front Office systems to Back Officesystem
  • Running all reconciliationsinvestigating any breaks identified and
  • solving simple to intermediate breaks referring complexbreaks to senior colleagues.


Solving queries relating tobooking discrepancies

  • Coordinate activities with internal clients and externalclients to
  • ensure the smooth delivery ofoperations processes and service levels in
  • accordance with the established procedures andguidelines.
  • Assist in the training of new andjunior members of the team
  • Ensure accurateand timely processing of rebooking initiatives and
  • migrations.
  • Provide cover for othermembers of the Trade Support team when necessary ability to flexbetween teams depending on daily volume and demand.
  • Support the implementation of new system functionalitiesand raise IT
  • requirements for bug fixing orsystem enhancements when possible


Participate in Transversalprojects

  • Comply withinternal and external regulatory and compliancerequirements
  • Ensure all controls are in placeand reconciliations fronttoback are
  • investigated and reconciled:
  • Emailsfrom Back offices Middle offices and IT are investigated
  • Emails from Credit Risk control areinvestigated
  • Abnormal Trading are investigatedand accounted
  • Ensuring trades are bookedtimely and accurately on trade date
  • Accountfor missing booking and escalate when necessary
  • Checking of daily reports


Technical & BehavioralCompetencies

  • Knowledge in OTC Credit Derivative Products
  • Deep knowledge of Middle Office Support functions
  • Understanding the economical requirements linked to thecessation of the Libor
  • Murex knowledgepreferred
  • Able to work underpressure
  • Possess great team spirit but yetcan work independently and is able to train her/histeammates
  • Confident and possess goodcommunication and interpersonal skills
  • Project management skills
