Overview: The AbinitioDeveloper plays a crucial role in designing developing andimplementing ETL solutions using Abinitio software. They areresponsible for extracting transforming and loading data into thedata warehouse while ensuring high performance and reliability ofthe systems.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Designingdeveloping and testing Abinitio graphapplications.
  • Collaborating with businessanalysts and data architects to understand and translate businessrequirements into technicalsolutions.
  • Implementing data validation andreconciliation processes to ensure the accuracy of ETLprocesses.
  • Optimizing ETL processes forperformance and scalability.
  • Developing andmaintaining technical documentation for ETL processes andsystems.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting ETLjob failures and performancebottlenecks.
  • Participating in code reviews toensure code quality and standardscompliance.
  • Collaborating with crossfunctionalteams to integrate ETL processes with existingsystems.
  • Implementing data quality and datagovernance best practices within ETLprocesses.
  • Providing production support andtroubleshooting for ETL processes andsystems.
  • Participating in the evaluation andselection of ETL tools andtechnologies.
  • Conducting performance tuning andoptimization of ETL jobs.
  • Implementing securityand data protection measures within ETLprocesses.
  • Participating in the planning andexecution of ETL migration and upgradeprojects.
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Systems or a relatedfield.
  • Proven experience in designing anddeveloping ETL solutions using Abinitiosoftware.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL andexperience with relationaldatabases.
  • Experience with data modeling anddata warehousing concepts.
  • Proficiency inUNIX/Linux environments and shellscripting.
  • Experience in performance tuning andoptimization of ETL processes.
  • Knowledge ofdata quality and data governance bestpractices.
  • Excellent problemsolving andtroubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communicationand collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to workeffectively in a fastpaced and dynamicenvironment.
  • Experience with version controlsystems and CI/CD processes.
  • Knowledge of datasecurity and protection principles.
  • Experiencewith ETL migration and upgradeprojects.
  • Certification in Abinitio or relevantETL technologies is aplus.
