Execution Lead( Projects/Construction)

The Execution / Projects / Construction Lead for Residential Developments @ Embassy is a key role responsible for overseeing a team of internal and external resources, responsible for managing the construction / delivery of a large portfolio of residential construction projects for Embassy Group. This role requires strong leadership skills, people / relationship skills, technical skills / expertise in large scale residential construction, infrastructure and master plans. He / she must also have the ability to ensure high-quality workmanship with timely completion of projects and compliance to industry / international best in class quality practices / processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight : Supervise and manage all site related aspects of residential project construction / delivery, with adherence to project plans, schedules, budgets, quality requirements, across the portfolio.
Team Management: Build and lead a team responsible for managing the entire construction / execution / delivery of Embassy’s residential portfolio, including construction managers, engineers, contractors, and labourers. Provide guidance, support, and motivation to ensure project goals are met.
Quality Control: Implement and maintain best in class / international quality control processes to ensure that construction work across the portfolio meets industry standards, our brand standards and customer requirements.
Budget Management: Monitor portfolio level adherence to project budgets, expenses, and costs to ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to project / business financial targets.
Schedule Management: Manage portfolio level project schedules, ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget constraints.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues across the portfolio during project execution and develop mitigation plans to minimize disruptions and delays.
Communication: Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and internal teams, to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues, conflicts, and challenges that may arise during construction, promoting a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lessons learned from past projects to enhance processes, efficiency, and overall project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar /related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in large scale residential construction project management, with a focus on quality execution and on-site supervision. International exposure to residential / hospitality construction / delivery (good to have)
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, techniques, materials, and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, building codes, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
