CMM Quality Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :Support the maintenance of ISO9001 and AS9100 systems and perform internal audits.Liaison to external auditors, and customer audit reviews. Participate in Supplier Quality Audits.Generate in-process and final inspection methods documentation defining and utilizing proper inspectiontechniques and tools.Prepare and/or review Delta FAIRs, UPPAP, and First Article Package for customer approval.Prepare, and submit deviation requests for approval using customer portals based on customerrequirements.Identify and implement ideas that will improve inspection methods or enhance the effectiveness of thePromote changes supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Lead Six Sigma, Kaizen and other LeanManufacturing programs and philosophies.Maintains CMM program library, and coordinate calibration and maintenance of CMM machines. Maywrite programs for CMM machines in PC-DMIS.Support business development by participating in customer contract reviews
RequirmentsKnowledge of GD&T SymbolsExperience on any CMM SoftwaresKnowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and Trace StandardsExperience in the aerospace or engineering industryBachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field
