Staff nurse exposure ophthalmologist in eye hospital

- Assessing planning and implementing nursing care for patients with ophthalmic conditions.
- Collaborating with ophthalmologists to assist in eye examinations and procedures.
- Administering medications and performing treatments as prescribed by ophthalmologists.
- Monitoring and documenting patients vital signs and eye conditions.
- Providing patient education on eye health and postoperative care.
- Assisting in the maintenance and cleanliness of ophthalmic equipment and instruments.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and care plans.
- Responding to emergency situations and providing immediate care to patients in distress.
- Ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of ophthalmic nursing policies and procedures.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Proven experience in providing nursing care in ophthalmology or eye care settings.
- Strong knowledge of ophthalmic conditions treatments and medications.
- Ability to assess and prioritize patient care needs specific to ophthalmology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and demanding environment.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Capability to remain calm and focused during emergency situations.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning in ophthalmic nursing.
