Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mastercam Programmer to join our client place based at Pune, Maharashtra. This role involves programming CNC machines using Mastercam software to produce precision components. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and possess a strong understanding of CNC programming and machining processes.
Roles and Responsibilities
Create and modify CNC/VMC programs using Mastercam software to manufacture precision components.
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements and workflow.
Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for optimal machining conditions.
Collaborate with machinists and engineers to ensure programs meet design specifications and production efficiency.
Conduct trial runs and oversee the first part inspection to validate CNC/VMC programs and make necessary adjustments.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the CNC/VMC machining process.
Maintain accurate records of CNC/VMC programs, tooling, and machining operations.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience as a Mastercam Programmer or similar role with at least 3-8 Years of experience in CNC/VMC programming.
Extensive knowledge of Mastercam software for creating and optimizing CNC/VMC programs.
Strong understanding of different CNC/VMC machines, tools, and machining processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
Familiarity with precision measuring tools and equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail ensuring high-quality end products.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams including machinists and engineers.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
