Responsibilities: 1. Financial Strategy & Leadership: Act as a strategic partner to the VP - Finance in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Lead the implementation of financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives. Provide timely and insightful financial analysis to senior management to aid in key business decisions. 2. Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee the preparation of all financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Indian GAAP. Ensure the integrity of financial data across all systems and processes. Lead the development and maintenance of robust internal controls and accounting policies. 3. Audit & Risk Management: Lead and manage all statutory and internal audits  from start to finish, serving as the primary liaison for external auditors. Proactively identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance. Prepare detailed audit schedules and documentation, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process. 4. Taxation & Regulatory Management: Lead all aspects of tax planning and compliance, including direct and indirect taxes. Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and other regulatory frameworks, advising senior management on their impact. Ensure all statutory filings and returns are completed accurately and on time. 5. Team Leadership & Development: Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of finance and accounting professionals. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth within the team. Manage team performance, conduct reviews, and allocate resources effectively to meet departmental goals. Requirements: Education:  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional Certification:  Must be a Chartered Accountant (CA) Experience:  A minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, with at least 5-7 years in a senior managerial or leadership role. Technical Expertise: Exceptional knowledge of accounting standards Proven experience in successfully managing complex statutory and internal audits. In-depth understanding of tax laws and regulatory compliance. Proficiency with ERP systems - Netsuite and advanced MS Excel skills. Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of developing talent. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Superb communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to a variety of audiences, including the board and external stakeholders.
