An exciting opportunity has arisen within The Mentors Circle Team for an Admission Counsellor. This is a full-time role.

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic candidate who will work as part of the UK/Ireland admission team to support the potential students and our partner institutions in Ireland and the UK. The successful candidate will also be supporting the service to ensure that students’ admission processes are effectively managed. The post holder will provide timely and appropriate interaction with students and institutions abroad, liaising with other departments and external centres to ensure students receive a prompt and timely response.

The post holder must have excellent customer service skills, both face-to-face and over the phone, as they will often be the first point of contact for Students, institutions and managers. They will focus on teamwork, and reliability, show great attention to detail and be able to manage their workload and priorities. They will be a clear and tactful communicator with the ability to develop strong working relationships with a wide range of people. They will have a mature attitude, good problem-solving skills, and a flexible, can-do approach.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for assisting students in shaping their careers overseas.2. Guiding the student on study options available in overseas universities as per their profile.3. Responsible for the prompt reply to students' queries.4. Being well informed and updated about overseas universities' admission process and entrance examinations.5. Assisting the students with the application process of universities in the UK and Ireland.6. Filling online/paper applications and applying to overseas Universities.7. Assisting the students with the Visa Process.8. Solving the queries of students and parents through Emails and calls.9. Working on specific targets and at the same time, earning lucrative income in the form of salary and incentives.10. Ensuring the compliance of the process and systems in the office.11. Taking the initiative and efforts to build a professional work environment, ensure that deadlines are met and the students have a positive experience during the entire admission process.12. Active participation and contribution during education fairs, universities visits and in-house seminars organised by the company.

Desired Candidate Profile

Min 2 years of experience in Overseas Education Industry preferably for UK/Ireland
