Job Title : Senior SDET (Mobile & Web Automation) Experience : 6-8 Years Location : Bangalore Job Description : We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with expertise in Mobile & Web Automation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, experience with modern automation frameworks, and a deep understanding of testing strategies for web and mobile applications. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web and mobile applications. Implement and execute automated test scripts to ensure software quality and performance. Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Develop test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, and performance testing. Perform root cause analysis of test failures and work with developers to resolve defects. Ensure high code quality by conducting code reviews and best practice implementation. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in test automation and quality assurance. Mentor and guide junior SDETs in best testing practices and automation strategies. Required Skills & Qualifications : 6-8 years of experience in software testing and test automation. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or Kotlin. Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or Playwright. Expertise in mobile testing (iOS & Android) using frameworks like Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest. Strong experience with API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools. Knowledge of performance and security testing tools. Experience in integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.). Solid understanding of Agile, DevOps, and Shift-left testing approaches. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
