The Assistant Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting tasks such as processing accounts payable and receivable, preparing bank reconciliations, preparing financial statements, assisting with tax compliance, and payroll compliance. The Assistant Accountant will work closely with the other members of the finance team to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.PRIMARY SKILLSETProficiency in accounting software like Tally.Knowledge of accounting principles and practicesExperience in accounts payable and receivable managementExperience in TAX(GST) calculation and filing on government portalExperience in Payroll Compliance (Tax Return, GST Return)Ability to prepare financial statements and bank reconciliationsGood communication and analytical skillsBachelor's degree in accounting or financeRESPONSIBILITIESEnsuring payroll compliance (PF, ESIC, PT) and filing tax (TDS) returnsRecommending financial actions by analysing accounting optionsPreparing financial statements and bank reconciliationsManaging accounts payable and receivableCompleting all tasks set by the supervisor and assisting wherever possible.Ready to continuously invest time to keep up to date with the latest technologies.Manage daily office expenses with other admin workForecast for the future expenses according to bank balance (maintaining bank balance)
