k9hr solutions is looking for npd engineer as follows: job summarythe new product development (npd) engineer is responsible for leading the design, development, and introduction of new products from concept to production. this role involves cross-functional collaboration with r&d, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and marketing teams to ensure innovative, high-quality, and cost-effective products are brought to market efficiently.key responsibilitiesproduct design & developmentdesign and develop new products or product improvements using cad and engineering tools.conduct feasibility studies, design validation, and prototyping.translate customer needs and market requirements into technical specifications.-project management:manage new product development projects from concept through launch.develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.-testing & validation:plan and perform design verification and validation testing.analyze test data and implement design changes to meet performance, reliability, and safety standards.support compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.manufacturing supportcollaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability and assembly (dfma).participate in pilot builds and production ramp-up.support process development, tooling, and production documentation.-continuous improvement:evaluate existing products for performance improvement opportunities.implement design modifications to enhance quality, reduce cost, or improve functionality.-documentation:create and maintain engineering documentation including drawings, boms, test reports, and design history files.support change control processes and product lifecycle management systems.costing reports related to new product development.-qualifications:education: bachelors degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering (or related field).experience: 25+ years of experience in product design and development, having casting & fabrication parts knowledge.experience background : casting & fabrication parts manufacturing industries.-technical skills:proficiency in cad software (., solidworks, autocad).knowledge of product development methodologies (stage-gate, agile, etc.).familiarity with materials selection, prototyping, and manufacturing processes (injection molding, machining, casting, etc.).understanding of quality systems (iso, six sigma, dfmea, pfmea).-soft skills:strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.excellent communication and teamwork skills.strong organizational and project management capabilities.creativity and innovation mindset.Experience 2 - 5 Years No. of Openings 02 Education B.E (Mechanical) Role NPD Engineer Industry Type Manufacturing / Production / Quality Gender Male Job Country India Type of Job Full Time Work Location Type Work from Office Face interview location 712, Dwarika Pride B/s, Sadbhavna Hospital, Nr Ramapir Circle, 150 Feet Ring Rd, Rajkot, Gujarat .
