Senior Agile Coach

Description Key Responsibilities / Duties: Perform hands-on coaching, in the context of teams and groups of teams: advise managers on how to organize, mobilize, and launch teams, influence process execution by guiding product owners, and facilitate events (as example for teams or scrum masters), and drive relentless improvement of process in support of teams’ efforts to work in a sustainable and smarter way Identify patterns of how teams work together: positive patterns for reinforcement and negative patterns for improvement opportunities  Lead workshops and training sessions to educate key individuals and teams on the pragmatics of lean-agile and how to develop lasting agile capabilities  Mentor and pair with change agents, stakeholders, and program manager on becoming true Lean-Agile champion a developing lasting agile capability  Maintain the integrity of the end state vision across a diverse group of teams  Promote continuous planning towards delivering a program or product roadmap Establish Agile best practices in conjunction with technical coach best practices advocated by the technical coaches  Collaborate with other Agile coaches ​​  Work Experience / Knowledge:   Agile Certified Professional certifications are preferred: SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Practioner, Certified LeSS Practioner (LeSS), Certified Team Coach (CTC) Minimum of 2 years of demonstrable, continuous Agile coaching experience at the program/value stream level  Minimum of 5 years of practical Agile experience  Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and/or other popular Agile practices and scaling framework is helpful (e.g., LeSS, DAD, Nexus), and their foundational elements (e.g., Scrum, Lean, Kanban, Extreme Programming) ​​  Specialized Skills:    A strong focus on success and the people required to achieve that success  A charismatic, influential, and persuasive presence  High emotional intelligence  High stress tolerance, unflappable  Driven by continuous learning ability to work in a dynamic agile environment  Excellent verbal and written communication  Formal Education:   A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university  Working Conditions: Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project or assignment.
