As a part of our offshore digital solutions organization, this position is responsible for providing technical leadership to the team involved in design, development, implementation, and maintenance of iOS mobile applications.


The candidate will have following experience :


- 5 years of iOS app development experience using Swift. Experience using Objective-C is a plus.


- Experience using Xcode and its tools, like: Instruments


- Experience building UI using Interface Builder, Auto Layout and Swift UI


- Experience using iOS SDK, including: CoreData, User Default, Background Services, Push Notification, Location Management and Thread Management.


- Experience using 3rd party frameworks and CocoaPods dependency manager.


- Experience with app distribution using TestFlight and Apple App Store Connect portal, available examples in Apple App Store is preferred.


- Experience with consuming APIs and interfacing with backend services using REST and JSON.


- Experience with AWS Services.


- Experience working in an agile, preferably SAFe, environment.


- Understanding accessibility compliance.


- Portfolio demonstrating experience is preferred but not required.


- Experience with software engineering fundamentals including object-oriented design, data structures, dependency injection, testable code, and algorithms.


- Write clean, maintainable code, and read and review code created by others.


- Write and maintain unit tests.


- Strong planning and organizational skills


- Be highly collaborative, a fast learner and willing to work wherever you're needed on the team.


- Domain knowledge of health care, call center, or public sector preferred but not required.


Ideal candidate will demonstrate :


- Good mix of hands-on experience in above areas and leadership to guide the development team.


- Strong analytical skills and experience working with business stakeholders to analyze business requirements.


- Ability to quickly pickup new technology and present value proposition.


- Excellent communication and technical presentation skills.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities :


- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and other team members to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business objectives.


- Conduct code reviews and optimization to enhance application performance and maintainability.


- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.


- Work closely with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and validation of iOS applications.


- Ensure production issues are resolved in a timely manner.


- Stay abreast of the latest iOS features, tools, and best practices, and make recommendations for process improvements and optimization.


- Work closely with Maximus Onsite Architects, Delivery Leads for solutioning of new projects and creating work estimates.


- Stay online and frequently collaborate with onsite stakeholders using Maximus MS Teams during 1st half of the day in EST
