Job Location- New Delhi

Job Summary:

Commie 1 – Indian Cuisine is responsible for preparing and cooking authentic Indian dishes, ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and presentation. The role supports the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations while maintaining hygiene and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook Indian curries, gravies, breads, rice, and tandoor items.
  • Assist in menu preparation and ensure timely service of all dishes.
  • Maintain proper mise-en-place for the Indian section.
  • Follow recipes and presentation standards as guided by senior chefs.
  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in the kitchen.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
  • Train and support junior kitchen staff when required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as Commi 1 or in a similar role within Indian cuisine.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian spices, cooking methods, and regional dishes.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
