Job SummaryWe are looking for an accomplished Senior Web & Application Developer to be part of our growing team. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience in PHP and Python, along with 5+ years of professional development experience. This role also involves working with applications hosted on Linux environments, AWS, and Azure, handling ongoing maintenance and patching activities. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.Key Responsibilities1) Application DevelopmentBuild, enhance, and support web-based applications using Python and PHPIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to ensure application stability, performance, and scalability2) Application AdministrationHandle routine application updates, patches, and maintenance to maintain reliability and securityManage and support applications deployed on AWS and Azure cloud platforms3) Application SupportProvide technical support and troubleshooting across multiple applications, systems, and tools4) Security & ComplianceEnsure applications, servers, and websites follow established security standards and best practicesApply and monitor security patches to protect systems from potential vulnerabilities5) Collaboration & Project CoordinationPartner closely with design, marketing, and IT teams to ensure development initiatives align with business goalsCommunicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle6) DocumentationCreate and maintain clear documentation for application code, infrastructure setup, and operational processes7) API DevelopmentDesign, build, and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile use casesEnsure APIs are secure, scalable, and properly documentedRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working with Python, PHP, and API developmentPractical experience with AWS and Azure environmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working with Word Press websites, particularly Divi Themes, is an added advantageExposure to Linux server administration, including patching, updates, and performance monitoring, is an added advantagePreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with version control systems such as GitUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation practicesExperience with website and application performance optimization techniques
