Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in writing UI and backend testing. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in developing and executing automated tests using the latest technologies and tools.

The primary focus of this role is to develop and maintain automated test cases for our web-based applications, using a variety of testing methodologies and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications, including UI and backend testing using the latest testing frameworks and best practices.

- Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve issues related to software quality, performance and scalability.

- Write test plans, test cases, and test reports to document testing activities and results.

- Identify and report defects in a clear and concise manner, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, scrum masters, product owners, and DevOps to facilitate testing activities across the software development lifecycle.

- Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in test automation and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements :

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in writing UI and backend testing.

- Strong understanding of web application architecture (JavaScript, GraphQL and REST APIs).

- Experience with test automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright or similar

- Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG, Junit, or similar.

- Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools such as Jenkins or similar.

- Experience working in Agile development environments.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
