Brief about the role:

The Inventory Lead will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing inventory operations, with a focus on maintaining accurate records, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring timely replenishment. This position requires strong leadership skills to supervise and train inventory staff, as well as the ability to collaborate with various teams such as sales, demand planning, and suppliers. The Inventory Lead will also be responsible for analyzing inventory data, forecasting future needs, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory worth 400-500 CR, ensuring accurate records and timely replenishment.
  • Oversee multiple SKUs, handling order management and coordinating with suppliers for efficient delivery.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and optimize storage space while maintaining quality control.
  • Forecast future inventory needs and adjust reorder points based on demand and market trends.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating terms and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Provide leadership to inventory staff, assigning tasks and setting performance goals for continuous improvement.
  • Control inventory costs by monitoring carrying costs and implementing cost-saving strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards, maintaining accurate documentation of inventory transactions.
  • Utilize inventory management software and technology to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
  • Develop contingency plans for unexpected events to minimize inventory-related risks.


Skills & Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
