Overseas Counselor- Study Abroad

Key Responsibilities 1. Understanding Student Profiles and Desired Courses Initial Consultation & Interest and Strength Assessment: o Schedule a meeting to discuss the student's academic background, interests, and career goals. o Evaluate their academic records, test scores (like SAT, GRE, TOEFL, IELTS), and extracurricular activities. o Use assessments or questionnaires to understand their interests and strengths. o Discuss various fields of study and their future prospects.
2. Assisting with University/College and Program Selection Research, Shortlisting & Application requirements: o Research universities and colleges that offer the desired courses. o Consider factors such as university ranking, location, tuition fees, faculty, and campus facilities. o Shortlist institutions that match the student's profile and preferences. o Review the admission requirements for each shortlisted institution. o Keep track of application deadlines and other critical dates.
3. Additional Tips: • Stay Updated: o Keep abreast of the latest trends in overseas education, visa regulations, and new programs. o Attend workshops, webinars, and training sessions. • Networking: o Build a network with alumni, current students, and representatives from various institutions. o Use these connections to provide students with first-hand information and insights.
Qualifications • Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience in Study Abroad counselling. • Counselling students for overseas education in countries like UK, Australia, USA, Canada & France. • Good in MS Office, CRM, Analytics/Numbers, and metrics.
Work from office 6 Days working (Sunday's off) Location- Mumbai, Noida, Bangalore Shift Timing- 10:30am-7:30pm.
