We’re an agile Security and IT team looking to expand. As part of your role, you will work with PCI-DSS audits and SOC2, lead third-party pentest work, and manage our SIEM (Elastic Search), which includes integration with other services and creating alerts (using static and ML-based rules). It also means managing Crowdstrike and OpenRaven.Since the team is small, you’ll get a lot of opportunities to learn new technologies and tools and to think outside the box. Outside the box is essential since we don’t believe in doing redundant or repetitive tasks that are better solved by computers.You’ll be exposed to many facets of security and the technologies enabling it, such as ML, Red Flag activities, and threat modeling. This also means you need to be comfortable to step outside your comfort zone.
Requirements
Minimum five years of experience in the Security fieldComputer Science Degree (Bachelor preferred)Self-starter, wear more “hats” if a gap is foundNot afraid to speak up, no matter seniority or titleReady to own and learn the tools we useComfortable with multiple time zone collaborations (PST, MST, and IST)Able to work efficiently with different teams and be able to explain and advocate for whychanges have to be made or speak up when potential issues with other team’s solutions are found.Solid experience with Elastic Search SIEM (Able to write ML jobs, Scripting, Integration with 3rd party log sources )Able to manually verify pentest findings ,both from our own tools and the findings from ASV and 3rd party pentest
