Metrology Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dimensional inspection using CMM, calipers, micrometers, and other metrology tools.
  • Operate and program CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) equipment.
  • Conduct calibration of measurement instruments and maintain calibration records.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action for quality issues.
  • Work with the quality and production teams to ensure measurement accuracy.
  • Maintain and update metrology documentation and reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related engineering field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in metrology, quality inspection, or similar roles.
  • Familiar with CMM machines and software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar).
  • Basic understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18, ₹22,000.00 per month
