Job Title: Vice President – Infrastructure Department: Projects / Infrastructure Development Reports To: Managing Director / CEO Location: Bangalore Industry: Infrastructure Development (Racetrack, Highways & Specialized Projects) Position OverviewWe are seeking a visionary and accomplished professional to lead the planning, design, and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects, including a world-class racetrack and advanced highway developments. The incumbent will drive all aspects of project delivery from conceptualization to commissioning ensuring technical excellence, safety, and compliance with international and national standards. This leadership role demands strong expertise in civil and infrastructure engineering, pavement design, drainage systems, lighting, and safety installations, combined with proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and large-scale budgets. Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & DesignLead end-to-end planning for infrastructure projects including racetracks, highways, and associated facilities. Collaborate with design consultants, architects, and technical experts to ensure designs align with FIA/FIM, MoRTH, and IRC standards. Develop comprehensive project timelines, budgets, and construction methodologies focusing on precision, safety, and performance. 2. Execution & SupervisionOversee on-ground execution of civil works including track or roadway construction, drainage systems, lighting, and safety installations. Ensure precision in surface leveling, pavement quality, and drainage for optimal performance and durability. Manage contractors, consultants, and internal teams to achieve timely and cost-effective project completion. 3. Quality, Safety & ComplianceImplement stringent quality control for materials, pavement layers, and workmanship. Ensure full compliance with international (FIA/FIM) and national (IRC/MoRTH) standards and safety protocols. Supervise installation of safety systems, barriers, lighting, and HSE adherence across all project sites. 4. Leadership & Team ManagementBuild and lead a multidisciplinary project team comprising civil, electrical, and project engineers. Define roles, responsibilities, and KPIs for team members and subcontractors. Mentor teams, fostering collaboration and performance excellence across all levels. 5. Stakeholder & Vendor CoordinationLiaise with motorsport consultants, government authorities, and technical advisors for necessary approvals and design validation. Manage contracts, procurement, and vendor performance to ensure timely delivery of quality materials and equipment. Prepare and present project progress reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for management and stakeholders. 6. Cost, Schedule & Risk ManagementMonitor project budgets, timelines, and resource utilization to prevent cost or schedule overruns. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively. Optimize cost efficiency without compromising quality or compliance. Qualifications & Experience• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s in Construction Management, MTech, or MBA preferred). • Minimum 15 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure projects highways, airports, or racetrack construction preferred. • Proven expertise in pavement engineering, drainage design, lighting systems, and safety infrastructure. • Sound knowledge of MoRTH/IRC specifications and FIA/FIM international standards. • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary teams and large budgets.
