Duties and Responsibilities

Security Delivery and Engineering (75%)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a domain expert for security and IT initiatives, providing technical guidance to multi-functional teams.
  • Deliver engineering support for the SailPoint IIQ platform, including configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage manual and automated SDLC processes, enhancing CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.
  • Contribute to IAM-related tasks, from agile story development to object creation in SailPoint.
  • Build strong relationships with internal customers and third-party vendors to deliver tailored security solutions.
  • Develop IAM security strategies that align with business objectives, and contribute to technology evaluation and implementation.
  • Ensure best practices and compliance for IAM security services.

Security Process Improvement and Organizational Alignment (25%)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain clear documentation for security service delivery processes.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance security operations.
  • Educate team members and business partners on IAM processes, fostering alignment and collaboration.
  • Ensure security initiatives support broader organizational goals.
  • Follow all company policies and security protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the IT Security team.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Three years or more relevant technical engineering experience and/or technical background within Information Security or security-related infrastructure, preferably in various Identity and Access Management technologies.
  • A four-year degree and at least two years of experience in a technology position.
  • Hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ in large-scale environments is highly preferred.
  • Certification in SailPoint or related IAM technologies is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrable ability to successfully connect with multi-functional teams, working with customers at all levels of the organization—from executives to developers.
  • Experience with Git and GitHub (including GitHub Actions) for version control and CI/CD automation.
  • In-depth knowledge of SailPoint IIQ, including deployment, integration, and maintenance in sophisticated environments.
  • Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Adept at working under pressure to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Competent in operating various devices, including computers, tablets, and mobile devices, to support job functions.
  • Applies specialized technical knowledge and skills within the context of IAM technologies and security practices in a similar industry.
  • Demonstrates a proactive, creative, and efficient approach to identifying challenges and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Familiarity with IT operations and service delivery models, ensuring seamless integration of IAM solutions within existing infrastructure.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
  • A strong desire to grow and specialize in IAM technologies, driving innovation and process improvements.
  • Demonstrates leadership skills, capable of guiding projects and influencing team direction.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) for communication and reporting.
  • Uses past experiences to improve or adapt work methods, identifying creative solutions without relying on predefined procedures.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies for project management is a plus, enabling effective collaboration in various project environments.
