Job Summary:
Imagicaaworld is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Head to lead and manage new projects, including structural and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) aspects, across our entertainment and theme park facilities. The Project Head will oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This role will require close collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors to drive successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop and oversee project plans, budgets, schedules, and resources for structural and MEP aspects of new projects.- Establish project timelines, milestones, and deliverables while ensuring they align with organizational goals.- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analysis to guide project scope and implementation.
1. Technical Oversight and Coordination:
- Lead structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design coordination, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.- Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure all designs and installations meet safety and quality standards.- Review and approve design plans, construction drawings, and MEP system layouts.
1. Vendor and Contractor Management:
- Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and vendors, ensuring adherence to contracts and performance standards.- Coordinate procurement processes for necessary equipment, materials, and resources, optimizing costs without compromising quality.- Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure project quality, safety, and compliance with specifications.
1. Budgeting and Financial Management:
- Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and accountability across all stages of the project.- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key cost drivers and areas for potential savings.- Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive planning and contingency measures.
1. Team Leadership and Stakeholder Communication:
- Lead a cross-functional project team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure high performance.- Regularly communicate project status, progress, and challenges to senior management, stakeholders, and team members.- Foster collaboration and coordination among departments to achieve project objectives and resolve issues.
1. Quality and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure all construction and MEP installations adhere to company standards, local building codes, and safety regulations.- Implement quality control measures and conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.- Develop and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies to minimize risk and enhance safety on-site.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.- Experience: Minimum 12+yrs years of experience in project management, with a strong background in structural and MEP fields, ideally in the entertainment, theme park, or hospitality industry.- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), AutoCAD, and knowledge of ERP systems.- Certifications: PMP, RICS, or similar project management certifications are advantageous.- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Preferred Qualities:
- Experience managing large-scale projects, ideally in the entertainment or theme park industry.- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.- In-depth knowledge of structural and MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.- A proactive approach to risk management and problem resolution.
