Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs. Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.Career Level -Senior Automation Engineer :BE or BTech., or ME or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area 3 to 8 years of software engineering or related experience.Must qualifications for this position are:5+ years of software development experiences, especially in highly scalable, available and fault tolerant distributed systemsStrong algorithmic skillsEffective communication skills (written and spoken) and strong problem resolution skillsVery good object-oriented programming skills, preferably JavaExperience with technologies like Spring, RESTful web services, micro service architectureExperience with JUnit, build & devops toolsAbility to work in a fast paced Agile development and rapid deployment in the Cloud/SaaS environmentStrong inclination towards test driven developmentEffective in working with remote teams spread across time zones (USA, India, Mexico)Good understanding on RDBMS conceptsDesirable qualifications for this position are (one or more):MySQL knowledgeKnowledge of Maven, Chef, Oracle DB, Jmockit, Authorization concepts, GIT, Grafana, YAMLOCI certification is a plusExperiences in scripting languages is a plusExperiences with cloud platforms (. We use lot of new exciting tools in QA development team to optimize and improve the efficiency of the weekly/monthly release cycles.What You’ll Do:Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test casesEstimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activitiesDesign, develop and execute automation scripts using open source toolsAs a member of functional testing team, the primary responsibilities would be to Understand the product requirements and work with development team and product managers to validate the requirements, Creating high quality test plans, test cases and ensuing complete automation and enable them on CI pipeline.
