Job Title: Assistant Manager - Corporate Treasury


Position Overview:

As a Assistant Manager - Corporate Treasury, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the financial resources and liquidity of the organization. Your primary responsibilities will involve overseeing the company's cash flow, investments, risk management, and capital structure. This critical position requires a strong understanding of financial markets, banking relationships, and strategic financial planning.


Key Responsibilities:

Cash Management:

  • Monitor daily cash positions
  • Consolidating cash flow requirements at group level
  • Execute strategies to ensure adequate liquidity for the company's operations.
  • Ensuring all payments are made as per management approvals
  • Manage cash concentration and disbursement activities to optimize cash utilization.
  • Supporting Top management in implementing any policies and procedures related to cash management.


Banking and Financial Relationships:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions at global level.
  • Negotiate and manage banking services, including banking accounts.
  • Coordinate with global banks and Sales teams for Bank guarantee or performance bond related requirements


Investment Management:

  • Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities for surplus cash.
  • Develop and implement investment policies and strategies in line with the company's risk tolerance.


Risk Management:

  • Identify, assess, and manage financial risks, including interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and credit risk.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies, such as hedging and insurance, as necessary.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analyses related to treasury activities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.


Compliance and Controls:

  • Establish and maintain robust treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.


Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of treasury professionals, if applicable, to achieve departmental objectives.


Skill Set:

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate treasury management, preferably in a global company & overall experience of 10+ years.
  • Excellent skill in MS Office, MS Excel.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, financial instruments, and risk management.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop and implement complex financial solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
