We are seeking an Out Systems Software Developer to join our Global IT Development Team at our Global Capability Centre in Bangalore. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom-built software applications to support Ceres operations across the United States, Caribbean, Pacific, and New Zealand. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create data collection and management applications optimized for i OS devices, laptops, and other platforms — with a focus on offline-capable solutions. Success in this role will mean delivering robust, scalable, and user-friendly applications that support our field operations and enhance overall business efficiency. What You Will Do • Design, develop, and configure high-quality applications using Out Systems Service Studio, ensuring alignment with business and operational needs. • Build reusable Application Objects (AOs) to improve development efficiency and maintainability. • Ensure high-quality, clean, and well-structured coding practices in line with industry best practices and internal standards. • Design and implement intuitive user interfaces and layouts using Out Systems web and mobile frameworks. • Develop robust integrations with external systems and APIs, including REST and SOAP-based services. • Conduct comprehensive testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure optimal application performance. • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software-related issues independently or in collaboration with Out Systems support. • Collaborate with IT leadership to evaluate, recommend, and implement innovative tools and technologies. • Contribute to establishing technical standards, development processes, and best practices within the team. • Support the deployment and maintenance of production applications, ensuring stability and reliability. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum 4 years of experience in software development using Out Systems. • At least 3 years of experience in designing and delivering custom software solutions across diverse business processes. • Certified Out Systems Developer — Web and/or Mobile (mandatory). • Proficiency in working within Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. • Experience in building offline-capable applications for mobile and field-based operations. • Familiarity with geo-centric software solutions is a strong advantage. Knowledge and Skills • Strong understanding of software development principles and application lifecycle management. • Solid knowledge of UI/UX best practices and responsive design for mobile and web applications. • Familiarity with software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes. • Proficiency in Java Script for customization and advanced logic development. • Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases. • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively in a team environment. • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills for gathering requirements and providing technical solutions. Preferred Qualifications • Experience developing solutions in highly distributed, multi-region enterprise environments. • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies. • Familiarity with Dev Ops pipelines, CI/CD tools, and application deployment strategies. • Exposure to GIS-based or mapping software solutions.
