About the Role

We are looking for an experienced
Infrastructure Security Engineer
with strong expertise in
Windows Server OS
and
Mac OS
security hardening, compliance, and automation. This role involves engineering, operations, and security compliance to strengthen our enterprise infrastructure against emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain hardening standards for
    Windows Server OS
    and
    Mac OS
    systems.
  • Apply industry-standard benchmarks (
    CIS Benchmarks, NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs
    ) for securing operating systems.
  • Configure OS settings (user accounts, file permissions, services, network configurations) to minimize attack surfaces.
  • Develop automation scripts (
    PowerShell for Windows, Shell scripting for macOS
    ) to streamline hardening tasks.
  • Analyze, test, and apply
    OS security policies
    for compliance across on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Apply compliance policies on Mac devices (via
    Microsoft Intune configuration profiles
    or individual enforcement).
  • Collaborate with IT admins, DevOps, and stakeholders to integrate secure configuration practices.
  • Build and maintain documentation, remediation steps, and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Stay updated on emerging vulnerabilities and propose new security controls.
  • Support daily stand-ups, project meetings, and ensure timely delivery of project goals.

Required Skills & Experience

6–8 years of hands-on experience in
security engineering & operations
for Windows and Mac OS

Strong knowledge of
OS security compliance
and
hardening standards

Familiarity with
CIS Benchmarks, NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs

Experience with
Microsoft Intune
for Mac compliance policies

Automation skills using
PowerShell
&
Shell scripting

Strong communication, stakeholder management & presentation skills

Understanding of
Agile
and
Waterfall
methodologies
