Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Planning and Scheduling:

    • Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and company goals.
    • Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
    • Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines and optimize workflow.

  • Management of Production Unit:

    • Oversee daily operations of the production unit, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
    • Implement best practices in production to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
    • Maintain equipment and machinery, ensuring they are in good working condition.

  • Quality Control:

    • Establish and enforce quality standards for all products.
    • Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance with specifications.
    • Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.

  • Productivity Enhancement:

    • Identify and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
    • Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the production team.

  • Manpower Management:

    • Recruit, train, and supervise production staff, ensuring they are skilled and motivated.
    • Develop and implement workforce plans to meet production needs.
    • Promote a safe and positive work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

  • Profitability Management:

    • Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
    • Manage budgets and financial performance of the production unit.
    • Develop and execute strategies to enhance profitability and achieve financial targets.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in made-ups, home textile manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Proven track record of improving productivity and profitability in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
