SAS & Cognos Consultant – Solutions Delivery Location: Remote (Offshore) Team: Solutions Delivery Overview We are looking for a SAS & Cognos Consultant to support enterprise data warehouse, ETL, and BI initiatives. This role requires a strong combination of SAS and IBM Cognos expertise to deliver reliable, high-quality data solutions that support reporting, analytics, and financial applications. What You’ll Do • Deliver end-to-end ETL, reporting, and analytics solutions using SAS and IBM Cognos. • Design, develop, and support Data Warehouse and BI applications aligned to business requirements. • Run and maintain daily, monthly, and quarterly SAS production processes, ensuring data accuracy and stability. • Monitor data quality trends and implement controls to proactively identify and resolve data issues. • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple source systems, including Claim Center, Policy Decisions, and Duck Creek. • Support analytics and reporting for claims and policy-level data. • Drive ongoing data quality measurement and improvement initiatives. • Ensure data security, retention, and governance compliance across IT systems. • Leverage SAS and Cognos capabilities to continuously improve performance, scalability, and usability of data solutions. • Partner with business and technology stakeholders in a consultative delivery model. Required Skills • Strong hands-on experience with Base SAS, SAS SQL, and SAS Macros. • Proven experience with IBM Cognos (reporting and analytics). • Solid understanding of ETL, data warehousing, and BI concepts. • Experience working with Oracle databases. • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data quality and controls. • Ability to work independently in a remote/offshore environment. Nice to Have • Experience in the insurance domain (claims and policy data). • Exposure to data governance, security, and compliance frameworks. • Consulting or client-facing delivery experience.
