Our data labeling technology and GenAI services are utilizedby Fortune 500 companies across various industries, including precision agriculture,autonomous vehicles, commerce, geospatial, medical AI, and technology.About the Role :The Marketing Research Lead will play a crucial role in supporting iMerit’s global marketing andsales organization by supporting diverse marketing initiatives by identifying right targetaccounts, contacts and use cases specific to these accounts. This role will enable our sales andmarketing functions to enhance marketing effectiveness, improve lead generation, and provideactionable insights to support sales pipeline development.ResponsibilitiesLead Generation:Research industries and companies to identify product-market fit and revenue scaling opportunities. KPI: Number of new opportunities identified per month.Identify key contacts within target companies using specific personas and titles for outbound marketing and sales. KPI: Number of key contacts identified and added to the CRM per week.Identify use cases in each account which helps in personalizing the interactionsMarket Research:Conduct competitor analysis to understand offerings and market positioning. KPI:Completion of competitor analysis reports (with actionable insights) on aquarterly basis.Utilize web-based tools for information gathering and data scraping to buildpotential lead lists. KPI: Number of qualified leads generated via data scrapingtools monthly.Look for intent signals to identify the accounts having higher possibility ofconversion. KPI: Number of accounts flagged based on intent signals per month.Prioritize the use cases based on performance and inputs from SalesMarketing Support:Collaborate with marketing to ensure accurate lead management tracking andrevenue attribution. KPI : Accuracy rate of lead tracking reports (target: 95%accuracy).Track the quality and performance of accounts and contacts and share quarterlyreport. KPI : Number of actionable insights generated from data analysis perquarter.Provide valuable information on contacts and companies to assist the sales team.KPI : Average feedback score from the sales team on the quality of informationprovided (on a scale of 1-10) with target > 7Understanding of marketing campaigns (email, outbound) for the contacts andaccounts mined and some part of execution using marketing tools. KPI: Numberof campaigns where contact insights were used and the conversion rate of thosecampaigns.Working ApproachWork on alternating Saturdays from home or occasionally in the office.Travel when needed (at least once in a quarter)Adaptable hours to connect with global teams.Proven ability to thrive in a self-starting environment.Comfortable working with data and attention to detail.Strong organization and time management skills.To be SuccessfulBe Proactive: Take action to find new opportunitiesBe Curious: Demonstrate a desire to learn about industry trends and technology.Be Insightful: Identify growth opportunities for iMerit in new markets orindustries.Detail-Oriented: Ensure accuracy in reporting and thoroughness in all work.Problem Solver: Understand client/stakeholder needs and present solutionseffectively.Insight Focused: Analyze performance and suggest improvements.Qualifications3-5 years of relevant experience in research, lead generation, or revenueoperationsMinimum of 3 years in a multinational company and working with globalstakeholders and teams.Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or arelated field.Prior experience in database tools like zoominfo, SalesNavigator, Apollo, or LushaExperience in data analysis and reporting, including dashboard creation.Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, solve problems and present clearsolutions.Preferred ExperienceUnderstanding of database and tools to mine the database.Reporting skills on database snapshots and reporting in Salesforce or equivalenttools.Strong project management and collaboration skills working with a variety ofdepartments and stakeholders.Strong English communication skills (written, verbal, negotiation and challengingcapabilities).Experience in researching market trends in AI/Machine Learning/Data Science.Learn more about us at iMerit Website and watch our journey on YouTube .
