Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Data Engineering
Seeking an experienced pipeline-centric data engineer who can assess a wide range of requirements and apply relevant database techniques to create a robust architecture. Your focus will be building pipelines and writing SQL queries. Beyond technical expertise, the candidate will need soft skills to communicate highly complex data trends to organizational leaders in a way that is easy to understand
Responsibilities
• Assembling large, complex sets of data that meet business requirements
• Identifying, designing and implementing internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes
• Building required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources using AWS, SAP and SQL technologies
• Building analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics including operational efficiency and customer acquisition
• Working with stakeholders including data, design, product and executive teams and assisting them with data-related technical issues
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
• Bachelor's or master’s degree in a relevant field with relevant work experience
Preferred qualifications
• Working experience with business Intelligence concepts such as ETL, Data Warehousing and Reporting
• Proficient skillset in SQL Database, SAP, Azure Data Factory
• Excellent data analysis skills
• Business partnering with multiple stakeholders
• Proficient in written and verbal communication
• Quick to pick up use of new software and technology
