This role presents a unique opportunity to join a nascent product development team dedicated to crafting next-generation technologies for an expansive range of applications.

Role Insight:

Our client seeks a dynamic, self-starting, and highly skilled Senior Web Application Engineer with expert proficiency in React/Redux and exemplary troubleshooting capabilities.

This position is ideal for individuals with a background in a fast-paced startup environment or a product engineering service company, where they have played a crucial role in developing and overseeing high-performance real-time systems.

The successful candidate will exhibit a profound passion for precision in engineering, be exceptionally motivated and organized, capable of working cohesively within a team, and able to operate independently with minimal oversight.

Core Responsibilities:

- Architect and develop sophisticated web applications.

- Uphold code quality and adhere to high development standards.

- Design and implement a new UI component library.

- Engage in the design and UX ideation process to enhance user workflows.

- Conduct robust unit testing across various scenarios for reliability and usability.

- Oversee release processes for internal stakeholders.

- Develop and maintain tools and infrastructure for internal use.

- Collaborate closely with the product team to break down business requirements into actionable tasks for the engineering team.

- Partner with fellow engineers to devise, develop, and test new features.

Qualifications for Success:

- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 6 years of experience as a web application engineer proficient in JavaScript and the MERN stack.

- Minimum of 2 years of solid experience with Node.js.

- Deep understanding of websockets and observable-based programming.

- Over 4 years of experience with React, Redux, TypeScript.

- Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.

- Proficiency with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra is a plus.

- Strong foundation in HTML5/CSS3/SASS/LESS/Bootstrap/Material Design.

- Expertise in RESTful architecture and networking.

- Experience with CI/CD infrastructure and build tools like Webpack or Rollup.

- Exceptional analytical and time management skills.

- Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, GCP, AWS) and additional JavaScript frameworks is beneficial.
