Responsibilities :

- The data architect is responsible for adopting an iterative outcome-driven solution architecture approach that evolves with business/product strategy and delivers business values.

- Designing and implementing the data architecture of Deutsche Telekom in esp. digital products architecture in collaboration with our engineering team to realize the future Data Analytics platform.

- You will define the interim architectures and target architectures and roll out the solutions to the business units of Deutsche Telekom and international NatCos.

- Engage with Product owners, data product owners and data engineers to realize business drive data architecture.

- Engage with data product owners to embed their digital tracking requirements during the feature design phase.

Skills :

- 9-12 years of comprehensive and expert Data Management, Solution design, and Data architecture knowledge.

- Deep understanding of concepts and principles relating to both Batch and Streaming data, as well as API/Microservices architectures, Data warehouses, Lakehouse, and Data Mesh Architectures.

- Strong expertise in Big Data Applications, Architecture best practices, and experience with the pitfalls of legacy Data Warehouses and Big Data platforms.

- Extensive exposure and an excellent understanding of the decision engine concepts and how to best implement MLOps within an enterprise.

- In-depth knowledge of digital assets tracking and tag management technologies.

- Well-versed with cloud technologies, especially the AWS platform, and nice to have familiarity with other cloud service providers, Microsoft Azure or GCP

- Exposure to open stacks like Apache suite of tools and technologies

- Experience in software engineering and programming languages (Java, Scala).

- Proven track record of working with globally federated IT teams, and understands the challenges involved, but can still bring teams and people together to deliver a shared outcome.

- Data Modelling experience (e.g., Information framework SID, Data Vault 2.0)

- Experienced in implementing solutions that protect sensitive and regulated Customer data and can define technically secure and regulatory sound solutions.

- Experienced in dealing with Security Architecture concepts like identity and access management, network isolation, transport protection, cloud security specifics, encryption & key management, and robust knowledge of data privacy treatment techniques.

- Strong Intrapersonal Skills

- Extensive and long-term experience in multicultural environments and fast-moving, highly competitive markets
