Location - Bangalore/ MumbaiHybrid - 2 days work from officeWe are looking for an experienced Gloss Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Gloss 6.x , RDBMS, Java development, and Gloss ecosystem. The ideal candidate must have experience working with Gloss background processes, BRX ontology, and MQ-based integrations , along with solid understanding of post-trade processing workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesGloss Development & SupportWork extensively on Gloss 6.x modules, functionalities, and customizations.Develop, enhance, and maintain applications built on the Gloss platform .Manage and troubleshoot Gloss background processes , batch jobs, and scheduled tasks.Implement and debug BRX ontology -based configurations and data mappings.Integration & MessagingWork with MQ-based messaging frameworks for real-time data flow between systems.Integrate Gloss with upstream/downstream applications using APIs, MQ, or custom adapters.Database ManagementDevelop and optimize RDBMS queries , stored procedures, and data models supporting Gloss workflows.Perform database troubleshooting, performance tuning, and data validation for trade processing.Java DevelopmentBuild and maintain supporting components using Core Java, Collections, Multithreading , etc.Develop utilities, data loaders, monitoring tools, and interface modules.Production Support & Issue ResolutionProvide L2/L3 support for Gloss-related incidents, defects, and enhancements.Analyze logs, MQ messages, and batch reports to resolve issues proactively.Work closely with business, QA, and infrastructure teams to support BAU activities.Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical SkillsStrong experience with Gloss 6.x platform.Good understanding of Gloss background processes , job scheduling, and batch cycles.Hands-on skills with BRX ontology , trade workflows, and reference data.Knowledge of IBM MQ , Kafka, or similar message queues.Strong proficiency in RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL).Solid experience with Java / J2EE development.Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.Domain SkillsGood understanding of Capital Markets, Trade Lifecycle, Clearing & Settlement .Experience working in Investment Banking or Broadridge technology environments.Soft SkillsStrong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Excellent communication and stakeholder management.Ability to work in a global, fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience working directly on Gloss implementations .Exposure to BRX configuration , ontology mapping, and post-trade system integrations.Understanding of SWIFT messages, FIX protocols, trade enrichment , etc.
