Position - Senior Test Engineer & Test EngineerFull Time RoleLocation : Kolkata / MumbaiWe are looking for immediate 15 days joiner.Role Overview:We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Software Tester to serve as a key independent contributor to our quality assurance efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced test strategies and leveraging cutting-edge tools to enhance our testing processes. This role requires deep expertise in functional testing, a strong command of test automation, and an advanced understanding of AI-driven testing and prompt engineering.Key Responsibilities:● Lead the development of comprehensive test plans, and test cases for software projects.● Execute functional tests, both manual and automated, to validate software quality.● Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.● Knowledge of the use of AI tools in testing (mandate skill), including crafting effective prompts for generating test data, test cases, and analyzing results.● Understanding of API testing, creating and managing comprehensive Postman collections and automating API tests (mandate).● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality standards and ensure adherence throughout the SDLC.● Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters on assigned projects.● Demonstrate strong proficiency in Java Script / Python, either of the 2 languages to build robust automation solutions and tools.Required Skills and Qualifications:● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.● 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a senior role.● Expertise in functional testing and test automation best practices.● Demonstrated experience using AI tools for testing and a solid understanding of prompt engineering.● Experience with Postman for automated API testing.● Proficiency in Java Script and Python for test automation and scripting.● Good communication, and analytical skills.
