Hiring for a Production Head for one of the specialized aerospace components manufacturers.

Operating from dedicated warehouses in Gummidipoondi, Chennai and Andhra Pradesh, they are certified with AS9100 Rev D and AS9120 Rev B Quality systems. Role details:

Title / Designation : Production Head Reporting to : Vice President – Operations Location: Chennai

Role & responsibilities:

Develop and manage production schedules, ensuring efficient coordination of activities. Procure necessary resources and maintain optimal stock levels while adhering to budget constraints. Select and maintain equipment, upholding quality standards and overseeing repairs as needed. Estimate costs, negotiate budgets, and monitor expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness. Monitor and adjust production processes for optimal efficiency and quality control. Facilitate communication between departments, teams, and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and timely completion of customer orders. Supervise, motivate, and train staff while actively participating in Quality Management System activities.

Candidate requirements:

10 to 15 years of hands-on experience in production management, ideally within state-of-the-art facilities and with advanced machinery Preferably from an Aerospace background, with experience aligning with the attached roles and responsibilities Strong experience in estimating costs, negotiating budgets, and monitoring expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness. Proven ability to effectively manage production schedules, allocate resources, and maintain stock levels while adhering to budgetary constraints. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a track record of supervising, motivating, and training teams to achieve production goals.
