Role: Legal Counsel(2-5 years of experience) - General Corporate Law

Location: Mumbai, India

As a lawyer in our organization , you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of legalmatters related to corporate law, including contracts, mergers and acquisitions, corporategovernance, compliance, and other general corporate legal issues.

Responsibilities:Provide legal advice and support on general corporate law matters to internal stakeholders group wide.Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including commercial agreements, vendor agreements, service agreements and licensing agreements.- Assist in due diligence activities for mergers and acquisitions, including conducting legal research, reviewing documentation, and preparing reports.Advise all group companies on corporate governance matters and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in corporate law and regulations. - Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, human resources, product, technology, data, business, sales, marketing and operations, to ensure legal compliance and provide guidance on legal matters.Work on intellectual property and data protection law projects

Indicative candidate:● Bachelor's degree in Law from an accredited institution.● Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.● 2-5 years of experience in general corporate law, preferably in a law firm or corporate legaldepartment.● Strong knowledge of corporate law, contracts, and legal principles.● Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.● Strong written and verbal communication skills.● Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.● Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.● Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
