Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Administer PeopleSoft applications, including system configurations, patches, upgrades, and performance tuning.
  • Manage PeopleSoft databases, including backup and recovery procedures, data integrity, and security.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Perform PeopleSoft administration tasks, such as environment setup, security management, and user access control.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting within PeopleSoft applications.
  • Experience in Linux and Unix scripting is necessary.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to support system enhancements and projects.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for PeopleSoft applications and environments.
  • Conduct system testing, deployment, and validation of patches, updates, and configurations.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Stay updated with PeopleSoft tools, technologies, and industry best practices related to administration and optimization.

Must-Have Skills:

  • PeopleSoft: PeopleCode, SQR, SQL, Peoplesoft Administration, Linux, and Unix scripts.
  • Ability to perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in system administration tasks.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 modules, payroll administration, and system enhancements.
  • Experience with system administration tasks, including backup and recovery procedures, performance tuning, and security management.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and practices.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks, and work under pressure.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in computer science, engineering, or information systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.
  • 6-9 years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment.
  • A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
