Job Title: Mainframe DeveloperExperience Range: 4 to 7 YearsPrimary Skill: COBOL programming & programming in a mainframe environmentLocation: Coimbatore or HyderabadRESPONSIBILITIES:- Provide full life cycle development with COBOL- Understand coding standards and implement them within code being developed- Ability to troubleshoot problems and provide solutions- Ability to communicate with the users to determine problems or design requirements- Ability to work individually or on a team to complete programming projects in a timely manner- Ability to document changes and follow the Systems Development Life Cycle process independently- Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Application Development.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:- Experience in COBOL programming, and programming in a mainframe environment- Good Experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with both the business community and the technical community- Strong analytical skills, self-motivation, and attention to detail- Ability to work with APIs to/from source systems
