Position: Backend Developer Experience: 6+ years Location: Bengaluru / Remote
Job Type: Contract
About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Hibernate, SQL databases, Kafka, and scalable backend systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices.
Work closely with frontend teams to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow.
Implement high-performance and secure backend logic.
Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity.
Handle asynchronous communication using Kafka or similar messaging systems.
Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
Required Skills & Expertise:
Core Skills: Java 8+, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs.
Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or any RDBMS.
Messaging & Streaming: Kafka (must-have), RabbitMQ (good to have).
Microservices: Design, deployment, and orchestration.
Tools & Platforms: Maven/Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes (good to have).
Version Control: Git/GitHub/GitLab.
Testing: JUnit, Mockito, Postman.
Cloud Platforms: AWS/Azure/GCP (good to have).
Qualifications:
Bachelors/masters degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of backend development experience.
Experience with large-scale, high-traffic applications.
