Job Title : Information Security Specialist / Cyber security

Location : Hyderabad

Client : NBFC

Experience : 3+ years

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist with a minimum 4 years of experience as Information Security Specialist in the Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) sector. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) security guidelines, have participated in audits, and be proficient in ISO 27001 standards and controls, Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Business Impact Analysis.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with RBI security regulations and ISO 27001 standards.

2. Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and recommend appropriate countermeasures.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the implementation of security controls and best practices across the organization's infrastructure, applications, and processes.

4. Participate in internal and external audits, including RBI inspections, and assist in the preparation of audit responses and remediation plans.

5. Monitor security incidents and conduct investigations to determine the root cause, impact, and appropriate mitigation measures.

6. Lead the development and maintenance of the Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP), ensuring their effectiveness through regular testing and updates.

7. Provide training and awareness sessions to employees on information security policies, procedures, and best practices.

8. Stay updated on emerging security threats, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to proactively address potential risks.

9. Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure compliance with security requirements and contractual agreements.

10. Serve as a subject matter expert on information security matters, offering guidance and support to internal stakeholders as needed.

11. Experience in implementing IT standards and controls in atleast one company

12. Solid understanding of ISO 27001 standards, risk assessment methodologies, and security frameworks.

13. Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, DLP, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and encryption.

14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and recommend effective solutions.

15. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

16. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with attention to detail.

17. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs, with a proactive and customer-focused approach.

Qualifications :

1. bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. And relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) preferred.

2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in information security roles within the NBFC sector, with a strong understanding of RBI security guidelines and regulations.

- Strong ethical and professional integrity, with a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.
