Brief Summary:
The PR and Corporate Communications Leader will be responsible for developing and executing brand communication strategies to enhance brand visibility, reputation, and engagement across all consumer touchpoints. The Brand Communications Leader will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure brand consistency and alignment with business objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Strategic Communication Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies aligned with our's and client’s goals and objectives.
Content Creation: Produce original, high-quality content for editorial pieces, blogs, internal magazine, email campaigns, social media posts, and advertising copy.
Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and international media outlets. Serve as the primary contact for company spokespersons, managing media inquiries and interviews.
Internal Communication: Implement effective internal communication and employer branding programs to ensure alignment with organizational messaging and values across all teams.
Creative Communications: Collaborate with internal and external design teams to create compelling visuals and content for various channels and platforms, including internal publications, events, and social media.
Digital: Have a strong grasp of SEO, Google AdWords, and social media analytics, along with a proactive approach to monitor, analyse, and improve all metrics related to brand awareness, engagement, and web content.
Crisis Management: Develop and execute crisis communication plans to handle and mitigate reputational risks effectively.
Government and Stakeholder Relations: Engage with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and reputational equity for Skyroot's missions and projects.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors/ Masters in communications, specialisation in public relations/journalism or business
Atleast 3 years’ experience in communications. Agency or eCom company experience will be preferred.
Extensive network of media contacts in India, with global contacts being advantageous.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
Previous experience working with startups, demonstrating impactful contributions, is a significant advantage.
