We are seeking a skilled South Indian Cook to prepare authentic and high-quality South Indian dishes. The role involves expertise in traditional cooking methods, regional recipes, and maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing a variety of South Indian cuisines such as idli, dosa, vada, sambhar, rasam, and various curries.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes as per menu and guest preferences.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation are consistent at all times.
• Manage kitchen operations including mise en place, cooking, and plating.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness as per FSSAI / HACCP food safety standards.
• Monitor inventory of ingredients and assist in purchasing fresh produce.
• Control wastage and ensure cost-effective use of raw materials.
• Train and guide kitchen helpers and junior staff.
• Coordinate with the Head Chef / F&B team for menu planning and special events.
• Handle special dietary requirements or guest requests when needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a South Indian Cook in a hotel, restaurant, or catering setup.
• Strong knowledge of South Indian cuisine, spices, and traditional cooking techniques.
• Ability to prepare a wide variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and safe food handling practices.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and during peak hours.

Pay: ₹18, ₹20,000.00 per month
