Position Overview

We are looking for a
3D Lighting Artist
to join our creative production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing high-quality lighting setups that bring realism, depth, and storytelling to 3D projects, including ad films, product renders, and animations. This role requires strong technical expertise, creative vision, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Create and execute photorealistic and creative lighting setups for diverse 3D projects.
  2. Deliver high-quality renders that meet top industry benchmarks for realism and visual appeal.
  3. Collaborate with modelers, animators, and compositors to ensure seamless project execution.
  4. Accurately interpret and apply client/manager feedback to avoid repeated errors.
  5. Optimize rendering settings for efficiency, speed, and quality balance.
  6. Maintain proper file organization, naming conventions, and archiving in the system, server, and Google Drive.
  7. Benchmark outputs against the best 3D work in the market to ensure competitive standards.
  8. Experiment with and implement new lighting/rendering techniques to improve workflows and output quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  1. 0–5 years of proven experience as a 3D Lighting Artist in animation, advertising, or design studios.
  2. Proficiency in industry-standard tools (3ds Max, Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D, V-Ray, Arnold, KeyShot, Redshift, or equivalent).
  3. Understanding of lighting principles, color theory, and photorealism.
  4. Ability to balance creative direction and technical execution.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  6. Experience in optimizing renders for speed and efficiency without compromising quality.
  7. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in product visualization, ad films, or architectural visualization.
  • Knowledge of compositing and post-production tools (After Effects, Nuke, or similar).
  • A strong portfolio showcasing lighting and rendering work.
