We are currentlyseeking a skilled and detailoriented AV Technician to join ourteam. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in theinstallation maintenance and troubleshooting of audiovisualsystems. Responsibilities:

Installationand Setup:

Install and configure audiovisual equipment includingdisplays projectors sound systems and video conferencingsystems.
Ensure proper cable management and integration of AVcomponents.


Testing and Calibration:

Conduct testing and calibration of AV systems to ensureoptimal performance.

Troubleshootand resolve any issues related to audio video or controlsystems.


Onsite Support:

Provide onsite support during events meetings andconferences to ensure smooth operation of AVequipment.

Assist users with the setup and operation of AVsystems.


Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections of AVsystems to identify and address potential issues.

Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedulepreventive maintenance activities.


Documentation:

Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of AVsystem configurations installations and troubleshootingprocedures.

Create userguides and training materials for endusers.


Collaboration:

Collaborate with AV engineers programmers and projectmanagers to contribute to the successful execution ofprojects.

Communicate effectively with clients and endusers tounderstand their AV requirements.




Requirements
  • High school diploma orequivalent; additional technical certifications are aplus.
  • Proven experience as an AV Technician or arelated field.
  • Strong technical knowledge ofaudiovisual equipment cabling and signal flow.
  • Familiarity with AV control systems and basicprogramming concepts.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolvingskills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonalskills.

Preferred Skills:


  • Industry certifications such as InfoComm CertifiedTechnology Specialist (CTS) are advantageous.
  • Experience with video conferencing solutions (e.g. ZoomMicrosoft Teams).
  • Familiarity with various AVsoftware and diagnostic tools.
