We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with 4-8 years of experience in the field of Data Science, looking to take on a leadership role and drive innovative projects forward. As a Lead Data Scientist, you will be at the forefront of developing advanced analytical models and insights that will significantly impact our business strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, providing guidance and support in their projects.
  • Design, develop, and deploy sophisticated machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and business stakeholders to understand their data analysis needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Drive the collection and cleaning of large, complex datasets for analysis.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science technology to ensure our practices are up-to-date.
  • Promote a data-driven culture within the organization by communicating findings and insights across teams.
  • Evaluate the performance of data-driven products and make recommendations for improvements.


Required Skills:

  • Strong expertise in core Data Science techniques including machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and natural language processing.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
  • Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and perform complex data extraction queries.
  • Solid understanding of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) to present findings effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities along with strong communication skills to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
